Your donation provides funding to continue supporting individuals in need through our outpatient Wellness Recovery Program

Our Strategy

United Against Heroin Addiction seeks to create a model that actively addresses the heroin epidemic occuring in Centre County, PA with the goal of implementing it in other communities. 

1. Direct Assistance to Addicts, Outpatient Wellness Recovery Program

2. Community Education and Awareness Programs,

3. Emotional Support to Affected Families and Friends

4. Guiding Effective Legislation and Governmental Funding.

UAHA seeks to bring awareness, education and wellness programs to communities to assist in identifying, understanding and one day ending the opiate epidemic.

Upcoming Events

SUPERFAIR, Saturday November 19th at the State College middle school 10 am - 4pm
We will have tables with literature and giveaways at the North Atherton Walmart on September 10th and Oct 8th. We will have tables at the Benner PIke Walmart on August 27th, October 29th, November 12th and 26th and December 3rd. Please stop by and learn more or inquire for support.

  • Provide an Outpatient Wellness Recovery Program rejuvinating the body mind and soul

  • Navigate the Treatment Process (Choosing a Medical Detoxification & Stabilization Program, Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, Partial Hospitalization Program, Outpatient Program, and/or Residential Treatment Center)

  • Arrange Logistics (transportation, job placement, reintegration into daily life activities, life skills training)

  • Find Transitional Care & a Home

  • Maintain Ongoing Support for Relapse Prevention & Continued Care
